From Brazil to Your Cup | RELI Coffee Journey

At RELI, we believe that every cup of coffee tells its own story—a journey from distant lands to your hands.
Our coffee begins its journey on Brazilian coffee plantations, where high-quality specialty coffee beans, or coffee cherries, are carefully grown and harvested.

Next comes the processing process. The natural coffee processing process, also known as the dry processing method, is a traditional method used for our specialty coffee beans. In this process, freshly harvested coffee berries are laid out in the sun to dry naturally with the skin intact, allowing the beans to absorb the fruit’s natural sugars and flavor nuances. This creates a richer, fruitier, and more complex flavor profile that highlights the unique characteristics of RELI coffee. Using this method, we ensure a full and aromatic coffee experience while preserving the natural essence of the beans.

Once all the steps are completed in Brazil, these beans, rich in flavor and character, arrive in Ventspils, Latvia, where the real magic happens.
In collaboration with Mārtiņš from CLOSER COFFEE, an open-type coffee roastery in Ventspils, we proudly create exceptional roasts that reveal the unique characteristics of each bean. Our roasting process is carefully designed to ensure the perfect balance of aroma, structure and taste.

We offer three unique coffee profiles tailored to different tastes:

  • Moose – A smooth and balanced medium roast, ideal for those who appreciate a harmonious taste with light acidity and sweet notes.

  • Red Stag – A medium-dark roast with a more pronounced and bold flavor, deep caramelized nuances and a pleasant structure.

  • Wildboar – A dark roast for true coffee enthusiasts, delivering intense, smoky flavors and a full, strong aftertaste.
